First, install Virtual Machine Manager Package.
This must be obtained from the Synology Package center. Since the Virtual Machine Manager is currently in beta, please check that the option “Yes, I want to see beta version!” is selected.
Next, Set up a system image for Ubuntu ISO.
Create and spec Virtual Machine, defining the number of CPUs and RAM.
Launch and setup Ubuntu.
And Finally an important last step; which will enable Ubuntu to communicate with the Synology host.
‘$ sudo apt-get install qemu-guest-agent’
